A Visit to Moggerhanger Park.

A group of Friends went to Moggerhanger Park on Saturday 13th February to see the masses of snowdrops in the woods adjacent to the house. The flowers were truly beautiful, and as we had Andy (Brian Anderson) with us we were able to identify several different species of snowdrop. The advantage of having someone knowledgeable about the countryside with us, meant he was able to identify various plants and birds that we saw and heard.

The weather was sunny which was a blessing as the pervious day was wet ,and the following one was snowy! Afterwards we all made for the tearooms where we partook of scones, cream and homemade lemoncurd. Yummy but naughty. We all agreed it had been a pleasant afternoon.
